fantastic fest eve

it's the night before fantastic fest and all through the house, creatures were stirring...and you wish they were just mice :P

can't wait!!! i am looking forward to the roasted suckling pig. there is just some magic about roasted pork - with the yummy crunchy skin and savory, juicy meat! the actual special meal that is available with the screening of Seventh Moon is as follows:

Chinese five spice roast suckling pig with mandarin pancakes, spicy Chinese barbecue sauce, steamed gai-lon and chinese forbidden black rice, which will be available for purchase by the audience at $9.99 while supplies last.

i rearranged my schedule to fit the first showing of this movie in because I *must* try this food. my mouth is watering...

zack and miri make a porno is showing at the paramount at 7PM and our tickets are actual seats :)

wheeeee! i am so glad that i took vacation to enjoy this fully

was able to sell my VIP badge but was bummed out that they sold VIP badges for 2008 and i didn't know about it and they are all sold out now :( am hoping that more VIP badges will be made available soon.

crap and double crap

well, all my fantastic fest dreams are dashed. my doctor says that i have to lay off caffeine, alcohol completely and get 8 hrs of sleep a night and take care of myself as if i am sick. i need to dial down my life and take it easy and avoid stress. HA! hello, he knows that this is the opposite of who i am...but i do need to take care of my health and i don't want to have permanent hearing loss so i guess that i am going to follow doctor's orders and just take it easy for a while.

excitement building

spent last nite building my calendar for upcoming fantastic fest. this is the 3rd year that i'll be doing it and it's only 3 yrs old but has grown so much. so many movies, so little time, right? i wish that i could've taken some time off but alas with the new job, time off is hard to come by...not having a car is a bummer as well but i will persevere somehow.
